I missed a few things in my weekend recap, such as First Friday, and the two mile hike with Guppy in the woods - we got all the way to the power lines! And the way SHE travels, it was at least three miles.

This is what our walks often look like...





Layla came over and we took photos of each other because I needed a 'professional head shot' and had nothing from the last 10 years that wasn't silly or a selfie with a child crawling on me. We still got lots of 'child crawling on me' shots, but also some excellent clean ones. The day was perfect - not overly sunny, but not dismally cloudy, and not raining. The leaves are drizzling off the trees, and sometimes flurrying, but it's so impossible to capture that on film. I've tried, so many times.

There were also cupcakes at the farmer's market. In all, an excellent day.
