It has been a packed day! After our excitement of the morning, and the subsequent flurry of cleaning (I refrained from using a flamethrower in the nursery. Barely.), we went to the post office, the craft store (for preschool supplies!!), and the grocery store. We arrived home at three minutes after noon to find that the window for our Internet upgrade service (12-4) meant NOON on the dot. The guy did not mind at all, and was very friendly and now I have more than double the speed I had yesterday. Netflix, I see more of you in my immediate future.

Then Guppy and I went for a walk in the woods, because how could you not on a gorgeous day like this?



Last summer, the fireweed didn't even bloom all the way up. This year? All the way to seed, and it's gorgeous.

Now I need to set up the event for the next Sketch Fest (Sept 18-20) and update my email list and write 500 words and work on some artwork. I'm meeting Layla for crepes and First Friday art crawl this evening, and Guppy went straight down for her nap for once. I shalln't squander this!
